Dr. Powers Therapy

Danyelle Spohn, RMHCI

As a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern, I am dedicated to creating a safe, flexible, and confidential space to explore and work through life challenges. I believe every client is unique and deserves the best therapeutic approach to meet their individual needs. Within sessions, I tend to utilize Interpersonal Process Therapy (IPT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and systemic and multiculturally appropriate evidence-based practices that best support my clients and their goals. In our work together, I prefer a collaborative relationship, where we can explore and navigate life stressors, create meaningful solutions, and identify what is most important in your healing experiences. My previous clinical work and interests include adults and college students, individuals who identify as LGBTQ+, substance use and recovery, and group counseling.  I believe that every individual’s journey in life is worth being supported, and I look forward to the opportunity to be part of yours.

I am a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern receiving supervision from a qualified supervisor, Raychel Powers, Psy. D, license number PY9748, and she can be reached at (850)-807-9801. I receive additional supervision from Nicole Nimmons MS,  LMFT whose license number is MT339. I received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida, a CACREP accredited program, where I learned how to work with a diverse population to promote mental health and wellness. I offer counseling services such as individual, couples, and group therapy both in person and through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
