Bogdana Jaliu, Psy. D.

As a Psychologist Licensed in Florida and New York, I specialize in working
with adults from a wide range of backgrounds addressing issues related,
but not limited to PTSD / trauma-related disorders, depression, generalized
anxiety disorder/social anxiety, substance use, life transitions, adjustment
and interpersonal difficulties. In addition, I have experience in treating
individuals impacted by severe mental illness illnesses. Practicing from a
multicultural lens, my therapeutic techniques aim to genuinely connect with
patients in an empathic and non-judgmental manner, empowering clients
to pursue their life goals and values. I integrate evidence-based
treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Commitment
Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self-Compassion and Evidenced-Based
Psychotherapies for individuals who have experienced traumatic events. I hold a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. I completed an internship at the Manhattan Psychiatric Center, in NYC.
Subsequent to that training, I attended a year of Postdoctoral Residency in Clinical Health Psychology/Substance Use
Disorders at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, Cleveland, OH and completed a second Postdoctoral Fellowship year in
Clinical Psychology -with treatment specializing in Eating Disorders, at the Albany School of Medicine /Albany Medical Center,
Department of Psychiatry, in NY. In addition to these degrees in Clinical Psychology, I hold a Ph.D. in Sports Science and a
Medical Degree. I offer services in both English and Romanian. My practice is 100% online in Florida.
