Kervin Isaac, RMHCI
As a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern for the state of Florida, I provide culturally
diverse counseling services to individuals both in-person and online via HIPAA-compliant telehealth
platforms. My therapeutic approach consists of a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In session, we will work together to identify common thinking traps and their influence on stress, anxiety, and depression. Therapy is a collaborative process. It is a space where we focus on you, and it can be whatever you want it to be. You know your life better than anyone else will. Together can we look back and identify areas of growth, process trauma, and gain the tools you need to achieve your goals. This involves incorporating coping skills, self-care, and mindfulness techniques to disrupt a cycle of stress, anxiety, and depression.
I am a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern receiving supervision from a qualified supervisor, Raychel Powers, Psy. D, license number PY9748, and she can be reached at (850)-807-9801. I received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida, a CACREP-accredited program. I also hold a bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Florida State University.
